This I have to say: Its become truly shocking as to how cheap pay as you go phones have become in the last few years.
When I first encountered a “mobile phone” it was a Trium Mars and I think cost in the region of £50 for the handset, which generously could be called “basic”.
Now it seems you can pick up a phone for around £4 plus included some credit. Phones now seem to have all the gadgets such as Skype Mobile instead of the boring sound “sports report”.
Just a small thought: This has all happened in the last ten years by my reckoning, what is coming up in this next decade in my mind is probably going to blow away any of the inventions of the ‘Noughties’…
