Saving money is perhaps one of the hardest things to do, well at least is the general consensus amongst a few people in the office, or is it should I say : Managing your finances ;)
One of the biggest problems that I have noticed is when people Spend a Huge Amount of Money without thinking, this can apply to the most simple of products ranging from deodorant to a new car.
It definitely seems that boys are considerably worse at putting money away into savings than girls. As my girlfriend did over the last year was save nearly £200, just by putting aside every £2 coin for which she did not have a use.
I started a savings pot at the start of this year, and with currently £20 put away. I do really wonder how long it will be till the day when I need a pack of ciggies and take some money out, thus rendering my savings dream fairly pointless.
Personally I am sick of seeing signs suggesting that if I put my money into a certain bank I can ‘watch my savings grow’. Yes, I can, but thanks to your handy online banking section I can quite stupidly move money around from my savings account to my current account.
Moral of the post? I simply have no self control…
